Retail Display Design Process

The design is the most important piece of any effective visual merchandising display.

Whether the display design is simple or complex it needs to have these common attributes:

The display design also needs to reflect the company’s image that it represents by enhancing the product, using the right mediums (woods, metals, and plastics.)  When this is done correctly, the visual merchandising display should resemble the company by making the product stand out with out taking away from it.

By learning about the company and the products to be displayed, as well as the strategies to target specific consumers, we begin the retail display design process.

We use Solid Works software to create computer generated images of how retail display designs would look with products in them, color schemes, artwork, etc…  We can then build functional full size prototypes for “hands on” approval before production runs start.

Because the best part of our job is developing new retail display designs for different products, the concept to prototype phase is usually very quick.  We challenge ourselves to be known to have the fastest and best design to prototype phase in the industry.
