Plastic Machining and Forming

Visual Options Inc. has another side to its business that is completely opposite from building displays for the “Visual Merchandising” arena.

Because of the equipment, the experienced personnel, and the need for other services that require plastic fabrication machining and forming we have diversified one side of our business, which we call “the other side.”

This side of the business is dedicated to the following types of plastic fabrication machining and forming:

We offer plastic fabrication, forming and welding in such plastics as, PP, PC, PVC, HDPE, ABS, Kydex, CPVC, UHMW, Nylon, Acetyl, etc…

These materials have “industrial strength” properties, such as impact resistance, chemical resistance, flame retardant, resistance of extreme temperatures, etc…

Some examples of products made for this industry would include:

Machine Guards

Machine guards are extremely durable and can be made with solid or clear materials. Polycarbonate is the best choice most of the time and has superior strength. We can replicate and existing machine guard or make one from your drawing or our design. It’s becoming more and more common for OSHA to require protection on production machines so injury is less likely to occur.

Chemical Tanks

Chemical tanks are normally hot air (thermal) welded and made from polypropylene, pvc, polyethylene or any necessary materials to suite the chemicals being contained. Our manufactured chemical tanks are constructed with strength as a number one priority. Large or small, these chemical tanks can also include custom fittings or drains.

Fume Hoods

Our fume hoods are usually made from PVC, which has some of the best characteristics for withstanding corrosive vapors, and keeps those vapors heading into your vacuum system for worry-free performance. Along with fume hoods we also make transitions, plenoms and ducting to give you an entire system that is highly functional with a clean appearance.

Containment

Tank liners and drip trays can be constructed to prevent mild or harsh chemicals from escaping into the environment. Secondary protection is a must in many situations. Tank covers and lids are a great way to prevent vapors from wandering into the ozone.
